The best "Yes!"
As a parent of a preschooler, I’m sure you hear the word “No!” a lot. In fact, the word “no” is often one of the first words a baby learns! It is important, therefore, for us to teach our preschoolers how to say “yes”. A great way to practice this at their young age is to play a yes/no game. You say something and then they have to tell you if they should say “yes” or “no” to it. For example: “Sarah, do we share our toys with our friends?” “Yes!” “Do we use gentle hands with a baby?” “Yes!”. Use this opportunity to then explain the best Yes! we can say- Yes to Jesus! You would end your conversation by saying “do we want to say yes or no to Jesus?” Let your child answer and then you can use this opportunity to explain that you have said yes to Jesus, and you continue to say Yes to Jesus every day!
