Some Muffins to Share!

Some Muffins to Share!

Baking together is so much fun with little ones! Our theme for this month is Thanks and Giving. You can can bake a fall goodie with your preschoolers. You can even buy aprons and chef hats online for them! Let them help you even if it is a little messy; you are making special memories! You can keep some of the treats and give some away.  You and your child can give goodies away to people that are influential in your child’s life.  This can include teachers, librarians, nurses, mail workers, garbage collectors, and more. You could also include a picture of that person that your child has drawn. You can also ask your child to tell you something that they appreciate about that person and send that in a note with the treat. This is a great way for them to be intentional about being thankful. Thankfulness is not something that kids learn overnight so this activity can help them to develop this important character trait. After you deliver the gift, come home and enjoy the treats they made with you with some apple cider or cocoa and talk about the day and how fun it was!

Here is a recipe a friend gave me that she really enjoys: https://www.thisgrandmaisfun.com/the-best-pumpkin-muffins-ever/
